Creating a Trigger Report: When break duration greater than specified time

Scenario:

Have an email subscription to report on agents who have 'Bathroom' or 'Coffee' break for more than 5 minutes to be sent twice daily, one at 12:00 p.m. that has data from 8:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. and one at 5:00 p.m. that has data from 12:01 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Solution:

We can follow these steps that will help us serve the purpose.

  • Select a type of Break Report.
  • Select the Break Types 'Bathroom' and 'Coffee'.
  • Select the Duration 'Greater than 5 minutes'.
  • Select the Times of Day to '08:00:00 to 12:00:00'.
  • Have daily email subscription for this report to be sent at say 12:00:00.

Similarly for 5 pm, select Times of Day value '12:01:00 to 17:00:00' and have a daily subscription to be sent at 17:00:00.

Detailed Steps:

Select the Break Report:

Select the 'Breaks grouped by Agent, Day then Hour, Portrait'.

Select the Break Types 'Bathroom' and 'Coffee':

On the Filter page, click 'More' and then click 'Break Types'.

Select the Break Types 'Bathroom' and 'Coffee' and click 'Add'.

Select the Duration “Greater than 5 minutes”:

On Filter page, click 'More' and then 'Duration'.

Set the Duration to Greater than 5 minutes and click 'Add'.

Select the Times of Day to '08:00:00 to 12:00:00':

On Filter page, click 'More' and then 'Times of Day'.

Select the Time of Day value to 'Between 08:00:00 And 12:00:00' and click 'Add'.

Now run the report and save it with the name 'Coffee and Bathroom Break 12 pm'.

Have daily email subscription for this report to be sent at say 12:00:00:

Create a subscription to run the report every week day at 12 p.m.
